asking for help is the hardest, most vulnerable and scary thing that we will ever have to do. when we began this process we did not think that we would hold a fundraiser, we didnt want to be a burden on anyone. but once we announced our adoption everyone started to say how can i help?! we were instantly humbled!
the average adoption costs between $10-$30,000 dollars! that is overwhelming to think about. we are thankful that we are blessed to have amazing friends, family and a great community to live in that are willing to help us complete our family.
our fundraiser is a puzzle fundraiser! i got the idea from an adoption blog i was reading back in october 2016 when we decided to talk about adopting. we created a puzzle using 3 pictures that represent our families journey. the first picture is our adoption announcement, the second picture is our favorite picture from our wedding day and the third picture is us holding 3 balloons representing the 3 babies we lost in miscarriage.
everyone who donates will have their names put on the back of a puzzle piece. we are asking that each puzzle piece donation be $25 or however much you would like to donate. you can donate by going to our adopting baby fuhriman youcaring account. sharing this post or our facebook posts is another great way of helping.
